║ THE DIGITAL GRAPHICS NETWORK ║
╚══════════════════════════════╝
Welcome to the Digital Graphics Network! I will get things started
with a small FAQ about DGNet.
WHAT IS DGNET?
--------------
The Digital Graphics Network (DGNet) is a network devoted to computer
graphics. Topics include but are not limited to Raytracing, Programming,
and Graphics in General. Here is a list of the currently available DGNet
Echos:
--------------------------------------------------------------
ANIME - Japanese Animation
ASM_BEGINERS - Assembly for beggining programmers
ASM_CODING - Graphics Routines and code in Assembly
BITMAPS - Bitmap Graphics
C_BEGINERS - C for beggining programmers
C_CODING - Graphics coding in C
PAS_BEGINERS - Pascal for beggining programmers
PAS_CODING - Graphics coding in Pascal
POVRAY - Raytracing with Povray and Utilitys
RAYTRACE - Raytracing, General
--------------------------------------------------------------
This list is not final, in the time to come we will add more echos
that are related to computer graphics. I just thought this list would
be more than enough to get things started.
I AM A SYSOP, HOW CAN I JOIN DGNET?
-----------------------------------
If you run a Bulletin board and feel you would like to carry DGNet
echos, you are more then welcome to apply. If you are a member of
FidoNet you can FREQ the address 1:125/225 under the magic name DGNET.
If you are not a member of the FidoNet network, you can call the DGNet
HQ and download the file DGNET.ZIP. The DGNet HQ's BBS number will be
listed at the end of this note.
--------
I hope the above has helped give you an understanding of what the
Digital Graphics Network is all about. Thank you for your interest.
